Katana gave Connõr one last nod before continuing on her way. She did one last round as she had been instructed and headed for her room. She had decided on taking a shower because she desperately needed one.

Blaze whimpered, a heart shattering sound that sent a pang through Connõr and made him wince. He pet Blaze's head lovingly.

(( ooc: not making that up for sappyness, everytime Blaze whines in my books I describe it like that ))

Connõr stood up and Blaze stood faithfully at his side, her tail not wagging, but the hairs on the ridge of her back stood up a little, though she restrained from growling or showing her teeth.
"Nathan, ye know I cannot get rid of Blaze! She's all I have left! She doesn't even bother anyone else on the ship. She stays in my room and that's all!"

nate made his rounds, checking the holding cells first and then the rooms, and as he came back around the room went black, his eye a lone light, he could see all though he was nervous he hated when this station was like this he made his way back around to the side the new girl was supposed to take when it came back on "finally" he sighed and got back around and saw the techy and the new guard, and a dog? he sighed and immediately went over to them "Mr. Odette!" he said sternly "need i remind you that animals apart from ones kept in tanks are not allowed in rooms"

Connõr rolled his eyes, "Those fools in control don't know what they're doing," he explained, "it's my bloddy computer and they don't even consult me before running a program..."
He sighed as a loud barking noise came from a room near them. Connõr gave a nervous smile, "Excuse me a moment..." he said and walked down to a door not too far away and opened it with a ket card.
Instantly a large rottweiler jumped out of the room and flattened him aginst the ground, licking his face eargestly.
"Gah! Blaze! Calm down girl!" he said laughing.

Katana was on her patrol when she ran into someone. She looked up to see Connõr.
"Um, hi."

Connõr raised his hand up in frustration and stalked off. At least everything had been set up properly. Who thought they had the right to mess with his computer?
He rounded a corner to head to his room for a second and ran into Katana, "Oh, hello," he said.

Katana began making rounds to make sure everyone was okay.So far, everyone she'd seen seemed okay. They the station went pitch black before the lights came back on. This is one hell of a first day.

Connõr said nothing, only took off at a run down the halls to the main control center where a bunch of his fellow enginers and power control co-workers were trying to figure out what was going on.
"What's the problem?" he asked them. They turned to look at him but none of them seemed to knwo what was happening.
Connõr shoved his way through and saw immediatly what was wrong.
"You bafoons!" she shouted and began re-arrangeing some of the wires that had been criss-crossed and shutting down several of the unneeded actions the main computer had been asked to do all at once.
For a moment the whole station was pitch black and Connõr shot a burst of energy through the computer to give it a jump start.
The lights of the station began turning back on, all of the oxygen supply boosters and the heating system kicked back on as well.
Connõr turned around, "Who the bloody-hell authorized this? And who the bloody-hell did this to the computer?!"
"It was just a maintanence check-up," someone said.
Connõr shoot his head in exasperation, "I designed most of this computer myself, there's no wires out of place, and you can't run ALL of the damn check-up systems at once! Otherwise the computer gets over loaded and shuts down! Idiots!"

nathen stood up quickly when the lights went out, "oh god dammit" he shouted and got his stuff and headed to the hallways, his eye glowing softly, giving him better vision in the darkend room, he made his way to the dinning hall where he left the recruit, he came in and looked around "mr o'dette you best go see why the power is out, back up doesnt supply the heaters and its gonna get real cold, and you ms valia i need you to help me make rounds, common procedure, got to make sure everyone is alright this power outage aint scheduled"

Connõr raised a brow, but there was a smile on his face, "Alright, keep to yourself then, I'm not nosey."
They begain chatting about this and that as their lunch went on when the next thing they knew the lights had gone off all around them, the back-up generator lights had been activated, and a siren began blaring loudly.
"Whoa!" Connõr cried, surprised.
What in the world could be going on?!
